Grüner Veltliner 2014 "Convivial"

This wine is named Convivial after the camaraderie and bonds made in the company of friends and family.

This Grüner Veltliner is medium dry with aromas of lime, lemon, and tropical fruit, with a lingering smooth finish of creamy vanilla.

Chardonnay 2014 "Open Door"

An Open Door may let you take your first step to explore the world, or receive friends and family into your home.

This unoaked Chardonnay is dry with intense fruit aromas and a taste of lemon and honey, with a balance of crispness and smoothness.

Riesling 2014 "Chiseled Lake"

The landscape of the Finger Lakes was carved during the last ice age, and so it could be said that the winery overlooks a Chiseled Lake, on the earth left behind by the glaciers.

This medium dry Riesling evolves in the glass, with complex aromas and balanced acidity.

About Mark T. Wiltberger Cellars

Growing up Mark helped plant the family vineyard in the early days of Finger Lakes farm wineries. After exploring other wine regions around the world, he returned home to make his own style of wine in this unique place of lake-cooled vineyards and rich glacial soils.

Mark focuses on careful production of small batches of wines, drawing on his variety of experiences and using both modern and traditional techniques. His aim is to make elegant wines from grape varietals that grow well in the cool climate of the Finger Lakes. In addition to the varietal name, each wine is also given a unique name to reflect ideas of discovery, travel, bonds of family and friendship, and connection to home and the land.
